    CODE::Block 1.0 ?

    Hellow,

    Im new in this community and in the cheat community in general.

    So, i'hv of course some basic knowledge about this subject but my question is,

    Is it possible and then, usefull, to use the Code::Block IDE instead of one of the VC++ version (pro or free)
    i mean, i always used this IDE (by always i mean since i beginned, so, not since a long time ;p) but i read evrywhere Visual C++ blablabla ....
    So, i will be able to write or compil some source (e.g nexus 04) with this IDE ?
    Myself, i'm sure that is possible to code a hack with any IDE but should i change to VC++ to compil some source from this forum ?

    After talking with sinner, he told me that i should get the nexus source and only keep the WH part (yes i only want my own WH, nothing else) but after dl'd them, i saw some things related to VC++ so ...

    I'm sure someone of you will take me as a noob who never searched anything, but hey, its really wrong, im not that lazy but this forum is there to help the beginner, so i ask you, dear pro devs

    Thanks in advance, the katozor (yes, me !) .

    Ps: i know that my english sucks, but blame me on another subject please ;D

    Can't help ya with the coding part, just want to say you're english is very understandable. Don't worry about it.
    You did the right thing asking here, we got a lot of friendly coders here, who like to help a fellow coder out. I'm glad to see another member started coding hacks...

    Re: CODE::Block 1.0 ?

    hey,

    Thanks man, nice to see some nolifer here

    I'hv a second question for you, very simply, but it will be, i think, a part of a answer for my first question.

    Is this a kind of fonction depending of VC++ :

    Code:
    o_glBindTexture = (glBindTexture_t) glhook.Hook("glBindTexture", h_glBindTexture);
    I don't wants to know what that means, i just get a error on that line when i try to compil with C::B, so if its depending of VC++ (i dont think so but ...) i'll find a tricks else i'll find the real solution 'by myself' (exept if you wants to tell me ;P).

    Someone will say 'read all the tutorials/posts related' but, i did the same for all the langages that i learn'd in the past (Delphi,PHP ...) i check the source files 'directly' (of course i'hv the basic knowledge hihi).

    By the way, this line come from the sinner's OpenGL basehook.
    If you wanna flamme me coz i'm asking for something really easy (who knows, i read a lot of post here and the whine is alive ) relax, i'm not a 13 yo wannabe coder =) .

    Thanks in advance.

    Code:
    o_glBindTexture = (glBindTexture_t) glhook.Hook("glBindTexture", h_glBindTexture);
    Left side of the operator:

    o_glBindTexture is a variable of type glBindTexture_t (a typedef) declared somewhere else in the script. After this command is executed, this variable will store the result of the right operand (since we're using the assignment = operator).

    Right side of the operator:

    glhook.Hook("glBindTexture", h_glBindTexture) is a call to the function Hook in - class? struct? - glhook. This returns some kind of value.
    (glBindTexture_t) is a C-Style conversion from the value that Hook() returned to type glBindTexture_t.

    What's the error?

    As long as you have the correct libs and code any IDE will work.. just MSVC++ is easiest for people learning (fancy simple GUI and most use it). Though if you know C++ and have been using, if you really wanted to switch its not a big deal.

    Re: CODE::Block 1.0 ?

    Well, thanks for the answer null, i thought pretty the same.

    theSorcerer,

    I got 2 kinds of errors and 1 of warning, and, since im a begginer, debugging is not that easy (i know some errors like a missing header or something like that but thats all :/)

    Code:
    dllmain.cpp: In function `DWORD SetupHook()':
    dllmain.cpp:19: error: invalid conversion from `void (*)(GLenum, GLuint)' to `void*'
    dllmain.cpp:19: error:  initializing argument 2 of `DWORD CGLHook::Hook(char*, void*)'
    dllmain.cpp:20: error: invalid conversion from `void (*)(GLenum, GLsizei, GLenum, const GLvoid*)' to `void*'
    dllmain.cpp:20: error:  initializing argument 2 of `DWORD CGLHook::Hook(char*, void*)'
    dllmain.cpp:21: error: invalid conversion from `void (*)(GLint, GLenum, GLsizei, const GLvoid*)' to `void*'
    dllmain.cpp:21: error:  initializing argument 2 of `DWORD CGLHook::Hook(char*, void*)'
    dllmain.cpp:22: error: invalid conversion from `void (*)(GLint, GLint, GLsizei, GLsizei)' to `void*'
    dllmain.cpp:22: error:  initializing argument 2 of `DWORD CGLHook::Hook(char*, void*)'
    dllmain.cpp:35:2: warning: no newline at end of file
    And i found some relative fonctions in etx.h, like :

    Code:
    extern glBindTexture_t		o_glBindTexture;
    extern glDrawElements_t		o_glDrawElements;
    extern glVertexPointer_t	o_glVertexPointer;
    extern glViewport_t			o_glViewport;
    So, i cant see why it dosen't work, tried to use some nexus files but no changement :/ .

    Thanks in advance.

    Try this:
    Code:
    o_glBindTexture = (glBindTexture_t) glhook.Hook("glBindTexture", (void*)h_glBindTexture);
    for all of them.

    Is glBindTexture_t defined (typedef)?
