    Coding

To any people that write code:

Did you learn by yourself i.e. self taught from examples?

Or did you go to any schooling or both?

If someone was to get into coding where may be a good start?

I am learning C from books, websites and friends, learning how to code is not easy but it is worth it in the long run, there are tons of useful articles here to help you, check out these posts to get started:

    Re: Coding

I learned from books, source code, my own experimentation, and from fellow coding friends.

The best way to learn IMO is to find a good book (if you're learning C the original K&R is great). If wanting to learn assembler, the best way is to experiment with a debugger and your own software.
    Code:
    <chaplja|> i'm taking over nixcoders
    <Smileman`> cool

A great book to start is "The C++ Starters Guide" By Herbert Shildt, great one.
