This is a very good book on the language itself, no waste of space API stuff which you can lookup online for your OS too. Just pure C++, good to get you to start writing better quality code & understanding more.

Amazon.com: A Complete Guide to Programming in C++: Ulla Kirch-Prinz, Peter Prinz: Books

    Bruce Eckel's Free Electronic Books
