Thread: kinda new to hacking, but my game crashes with any hack

i start the hack up, then start game up, and it crashes saying "half-life launcher has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

ive tried like 6 hacks now, all same result, one worked before, unreal stealth public, but i changed to fullscreen, now it crashes, i tried going back to window, but same thing, is there a way i can fix this?

Are you using vista? because if using vista it sometimes crashes just because the protection on vista is clashing with CS and the hack, causing it to close. Try to run as administrator. If that doesnt work, try putting the hack in another folder. Its worked for me.

kinda simmilar to my problem. i need help. posteded on yahoo answers ???????????????????????? i downloaded a hack for cs 1.6 called unreal rage v's 1-7. ( to see if any worked) i used them with winrar and none of them worked affectively. so then i tried to use my working hack MPH timm3h v1.4 and it isnt working.. and when i try to play normally. ( no hacks ) my handedness is lefty when using a gun and righty when using knife ( same as unreal rage hack ) I tried uninstalling steam and deleted the downloaded hack files off my computer. No thing worked... i presume that the hack is permanent.. knowing that it is ineffective. Now i cant hack in my favorite game. Any suggestions?
