I cant play ET on vista... i have to change something ?

i download e.t normally to vista.. and this brakes and give errori cant put the resolution with 1260.. have to be on 860 0o

help me pls

Sounds like a problem with the graphics.
Are you sure that your videocard drivers are up to date ?

Try to enter custom height and width as screen resolution, I used to know the commands but it has been a long time ago for me.
Googling would help you out probably.
