Not sure why people are having trouble with it.... however the bot is quite the impressive feat.

I imagine the way it is written it is a lot easier to handle client/mod upgrades.

Very smooth.

Coming to grips with all that is packed into this nifty little unit, is gonna take a few days at least..........some months for most.

Ive had 2 brief goes of the bot so far, one last night (aus time) and one just now........I think it is damn fine. Possibly too much for some handle or know what to do with, but hey, its got something for everyone.

I give the bot 4/5*'s............It only misses the last star cos of the time it took to build it, which is a bit unfair to the coders........but hey, you got 4 stars!

I suggest you all give at least a few days before you complain something aint working. Remember, the bot was in "test" mode for a long time, and they didnt want to release it till it was perfect..........Try some settings, play around with it a while, then if it is totally out of your hands to answer your question...........post it up for sure.

i cant even get the fawking .pk3 to load, its in the right place and everything and once it hits 7:00 i'll have been trying for about 4 1/2 hrs trying to figure out and noone has helped me except for crunk, and he couldnt figure out what to do either.

and i'm not some dumbass who doesnt know what he is doing either, i've looked deeply into this and still cant find the answer.

Ok, I had a crash, turned off killsounds seemed to fix. Emphasis on the seemed to bit.

As for me saying (apparently) that someone is some dumbass who doesnt know what he is doing, all I am suggesting is that instead of everyone spamming the forums with "this dont work and this sux etc" (which I might add in this case don't include you, who has a genuine issue), that people give the coders a bit of a break seeing as how they have been working so long on the bloody thing. Nothing worse than doing something good only to be spat at, is there?

Now, from what I see, you have followed everything to the letter in the read me, including making an account on chap's site yeah? You have filled in the auth and password correctly? And you have pointed the loader to the correct et exe? Not questioning your abilities anyone, but making sure these are done right is the most important thing. Double check and make sure I would say.

Firewall has accepted the bot as a safe program, and allowed the changes it makes? Some firewalls dont warn you, they just block this kind of stuff. Make sure a) when the file was downloaded the firewall did not disallow any files inside it (has happened to me in the past) and b) the program(bot) is set to "allowed" and changes accepted when it is run.

Thats all the simple stuff..No trojans no spyware etc? Registry all in order? Just simple things you check might help you find the problem. That should about cover it from what I know about bots.........Otherwise, your windows is screwed and you need a new install.

Good luck with it all whoever is having that particular issue.....bot is well worth the hassle for sure.

ps...........try backing up and removing all your custom pk3's from etmain folder. Only have eth32's pk3 in there, and if you have any autoexec's for config and functions, try disabling those too.
