Personally I would say that bigger avatars is just adding a bit bigger clutter to the top of your post - the key should be what you are saying, not how pretty the area around it looks. Your sig should be plenty of space to have pics.

I agree with null, I was on some site the other day, I guess the avatar size was unlimited because there were some huge ones, it seriously made me want to stay away. On the other hand a little bit more space wouldn't do too much damage. Not up to me though so meh

I'll alter the layout to put the avatar on the left, text & signature on the right, so the avatar might be expanded a bit if it 'll match the new box height.

well, I guess I could get an avatar then

a bigger avatar would be nice and 150x150 still isnt that big

My 100x100 avatar even fit.
