Want to build a new rig, but just can't decide.

2 Options I have in mind.

    Option 1:

    CASE: Miditower Antec 900
MOBO: ASUS Sabertooth p67 R.3 ( Fixed version for sandybridge )
    CPU: Intel Core i7-2600k 3,4 GHZ ( Unlocked & Unleashed ) - Easy overclockable
    CPU COOLER: CoolerMaster v6 GT
RAM: 4x2048 Corsair Dominator 1600 mhz
GPU: NV GF GTX560 Ti 2048MB - GainWard
    HDD1: 150 GB WD VelociRaptor 10.000 rpm ( 32 MB cache )
    HDD2: 500 GB WD Caviar Black 7200 rpm ( 64MB cache )
    PSU: 950 watt Corsair TX950w

    Option 2:

    CASE: Miditower CoolerMaster Storm Scout
Extra Case Coolers: 4x CoolerMaster TLF- S12
MOBO: ASUS Crosshair IV Extreme AM3
    CPU: AMD AM3 Phenom II x6 1100T Black Edition - 6x 3,3 ghz - 3,8 ghz turbo
    CPU COOLER: CoolerMaster v6 GT
    RAM: 4x4096 G.Skill Ripjaws DDR 1600 mhz
GPU: ATI HD6950 Asus 2048MB EAH6950/2DI2S/2GD5 DVI HDMI
    SSD: 40 GB G.Skill Phoenix Pro 2,5" SSD 40 GB (SATA 300)
HDD: 600GB Western Digital VelociRaptor 10.000rpm 32MB Cache Serial ATA/600
PSU: 1000 Watt Coolermaster Silent Pro M1000

    They both cost somewhat between 1500 - 1600 €.

I see your separating the HDD for the OS to run it faster.
Since your getting a HD 6950 on the second I would advice the second.
Unless of course you decide to get a GTX 590 which I would love to
have I would advice the first.

Very wise to go Western Digital but I want to tell you Gainward is a good brand but
their design is too high performance even their safe mode is over clocked.
So card may only last few years or so like mine did.

Two Gainward cards consecutive breakdown while playing high shader games.
First cost $400 USD the next $300 lol. I'm thinking of EVGA next seems good
after some time scrutinizing them. But all cards are made in China now so
    probably why get busted early.

You know it's a business thing to them so you buy again.

Well, I build like a new PC once a 2 years, and resell the old one - so if the card breaks down it's not my problem anymore

Well, I myself would suggest the second option with the mobo and CPU from the first one. But I guess that would be out of your price range then.
CM Storm Scout is a nice choice (I myself got the Sniper).
G.Skill Ripjaws is very good too, here are my results with a single 4GB stick + OC'd i7: http://aimbots.net/attachment.php?at...2&d=1293555878 Though I plan on upgrading to a dual- or triple-channel RAM later.

    Just for price comparison:
    600GB VelociRaptor - under 250
    600GB SSD (a slower one) - about 1000
Even the faster 32GB SSDs cost more than a 600GB VelociRaptor.

@ BraveBeast, na The Sabertooth is 100 euro cheaper then the crosshair IV Extreme

    Sabertooth = arround 130
Crosshair IV Extreme = 230 euro somewhat

The Intel Core i7 is 50 euro more then the AMD one, so there wouldn't be any problem.
There isnt a money problem anyway, But I was like I keep it under 1700 €
Because this is way enough for a High end system ( imo )

+ Im not really into all this stuff Iv'e just have readed some stuff about that AMD + ATI work better togheter then intel & ati
I really got no clue about all this I just checked what is kinda recently new on the market and made a PC, I don't even know if all these parts will even fit inside that case.

@ 9thnetti, I got a 120 GB OCZ vertex 3 here. so there is no need to buy another SSD.
I just want to know what would be a better investment on the new build nothing else.

No idea where you heard that from.
I've never heard about anyone having a problem with an i7 and a HD4000, 5000 or 6000 series card. I myself got i7-930 + HD5870 and they work flawlessly.
Plus, the Phenom II X6 loses to even the i5 in gaming benchmarks.
