Thread: [Tutorial] Basic Twirl Effect tutorial

Hello All,
I am going to be showing you, how to make a galaxy like, twirl.

NOTE
My photoshop has some settings changed, so thats why you see grid like lines.

Program: Photoshop v7 +

Difficulity: Easy

Images take time to load, be patient.

Basic Twirl Tutorial

Step 1

Open a new project, you can make your size about 500*500

Press D to make default colour black,

Then do ALT-BACKSPACE to make a black background



Step 2

Go to filter -> Render -> Lens Flare

Place about 8 flares in the space you have, near each other.

Change the brightness and type of flare.



Step 3

Go to Filter -> Distort -> Twirl

Make the angle. 420 - 720

In this tute, i have used 600



And there you go, your own Twirl Effect work, which looks like a Galaxy!

wow, that looks great, dont worry i'll use it eventually, when i get my pc, like 1 1/2 weeks and counting first thing is i'm gonna shove 20,000 tut's into my head and do em all
